Odd Future Perform at the 2011 MTV Woodie Awards

Can it be possible that OFWGKTA, emerging on the music scene just last year with disturbingly raunchy raps, is already closing the mtvU Woodie Awards? Apparently so. Rising to the forefront of the Hip-Hop scene in the blink of an eye with a hostile takeover via online, the Odd Future gang now has the world of pop culture mesmerized. Tyler, the Creator and his cohorts stole the show, with a performance complete with ski-masks, rainbow gnomes, dancing stuffed-animals, crowd-surfing, and yes, a swagged-out midget. Album Review: Frank Ocean – Nostalgia/Ultra

Just when Sour Grape thought the undeniably talented, yet shockingly outspoken rap ensemble, OFWGKTA, was done surprising the world, the LA crew throws another curve ball our way and his name is Frank Ocean. Smooth, sexy, bright, and oh so swag, Mr. Ocean is just what the R&B world needs. With a seductive voice reminiscent of Usher, fabulous beats, and the backing of his Odd Future homies, the 23-year old Californian is the total package. Watch out Treyz Songs, Ocean’s self-released debut, Nostalgia, Ultra, is bursting with potential that is sure to bring him to the forefront of the R&B scene.
